I have compiled a fairly comprehensive dossier of achievements in my racing career: Including nearly 100 wins, 5 National Championship Titles (3 gold medals & 2 Best-All-Round), 2 time USA Cycling 'All American', and ranked the No.1 USA Cycling Cat 1 criterium rider x 2 years
I started racing bikes when I was 28 years old on a local team sponsored by Kodak in Washington DC,
and was mentored by 18 time National Champion Jim
Montgomery. Under Jim's guidance I became a Cat 1 in two under years.
Soon after, World TEAM gave me a spot, which
racing alongside Paul Curley (25-time National
Jason Snow (35+ World Champion), and Brian McDonough (SAAB Professional
multi-time track National Champion). It was here with these guys that I learned
the ins-and-outs of American Crit racing, and won the District 20
(N.VA, Wash DC, MD, and DEL) Cat 1-2 Best All-Round Rider
(BAR) twice, and set the 40k ITT district record (50:54).
In 2000-2001, I moved to New England and
raced on the nation’s No. 1-ranked amateur team CCB. On CCB I won the New England
Criterium Championship. The following year I raced for Trek's
Northeast factory team and was USA Cyclings No. 1-ranked Cat 1
racer in 2002 and 2003. From
2004 to 2011, my focus was on building a start-up company but I managed to win another Masters
Criterium Championship in 2007. In 2012
I was on the winning six-man team at the RAPHA North American Gentlemen Race (124 miles on-off road). In 2012 & 2013 I rode for TIME
FACTORY, based in Los Angeles,
CA and won
the New England Masters Criterium Championships both years.
